COME AND JOIN OUR COMMUNITY, THE BASQUE CULTURAL AND CREATIVE INDUSTRIES!
BDCC was founded with the aim of uniting and reinforcing different public and private initiatives in order to develop the Cultural and Creative Industries in the Basque Country.
For that reason, a network collaboration model is proposed to make the support products and services from different agents available to companies in a simple and effective manner.
As a district, it aims to unify economic development, innovation and cultural perspective, also involving the Basque Government, Regional Governments and the three capital cities.
In addition to these institutions, it brings together the efforts of other entities in the ecosystem, such as technological centres, Universities, sectoral and cultural agents, etc. focussing on a main approach: companies.
It is a Basque Country project, coordinated together between the Department of Culture and Linguistic Policy, the Department of Economic Development of the Basque Government and the agencies SPRI and Innobasque.
The definition of new collaborative services and their availability in a network guarantees the tackling of key challenges in the sector: professionalism and management, internationalisation, intellectual property rights management, etc. Also, the BDCC will take on an active role as interlocutor with the entities and administrations with which the CCI companies work, carrying out a function as agent network coordinator, redirecting and guiding the CCI companies and professionals to already-existing support programs and services.
